Interior design for younger residents does not have to infantilise the aesthetics of a family home. For this bedroom in Famalicão, Madeira Negra designed an environment that stimulates the imagination without compromising elegant sophistication. Taking advantage of the space’s proportions, we conceived an upholstered corner bed with perfectly delineated contours, creating a reading and resting nook illuminated by a cloud-shaped pendant. The warm beige walls, contrasted with terracotta orange accents, gain a new dimension with the subtle application of ceiling wallpaper, elevating comfort through the rich bouclé-textured armchair.
